Each contestant will compete in appropriate age division.  We do have a 30 day grace period.  Birth certificate can be requested when directors deem it necessary.

Age divisions are as follows:

Baby Miss 0-11 months,  Tiny Miss 12-23 months, Toddler Miss 2-3 years, Little Miss 4-6 years, Petite Miss 7-9 years, Junior Miss 10-12 years, Teen Miss 13-17, and Miss 18 and up.  Age divisions can be split due to size if necessary.

Line-up is determined by date of registration and payment received.  First paid is last to compete.

Our judges are looking for personality, stage presence, facial beauty, self-confidence, and overall appearance.  Your scores are based solely on the opinion of the judges, and your overall scores are the combination of the judges.  Judges decisions are final.  There is to be no one near the judges table during competition besides directors.

Pro-am modeling is accepted and encouraged in every category.  Ages 4 and up will be expected to do so in Beauty Wear.  Contestants 6 and under can be coached, while 4 and under can be accompanied on stage. 

We do not want our judges to be influenced in any way so we request that coaching/accompanying chaperones refrain from wearing any uniform pertaining to military, police, firefighters, etc.   Music will be provided. 



All contestants must compete in a pageant dress.  No cupcake dresses allowed on ages 10 and up. Contestants age 10 and up must wear a long dress.

Hairpieces and makeup are encouraged but not mandatory.  Tanning is not mandatory on ages 2 and under. 



Outfit of Choice:  You must bring your own music and props.  One song per CD .  Routine must be 90 seconds or less or points will be deducted.  We are not responsible for technical issues on CD’s provided.



Talent: Routine must be 90 seconds or less or points will be deducted.  No live animals, projectile, pyrotechnics, or objects thrown off stage are allowed.  You are responsible for your own music or props.  No offensive or foul language allowed.

Portfolio: Must consist of three to ten 5x7 pictures.  Photos can be professional or amateur.

Photogenic: Glitz retouching is encouraged but not mandatory.

 

In the event there is a tie in any category, including optionals, a judge will decide the winner.

Good sportsmanship is mandatory.  Any witnessed unsportsmanlike conduct can result in disqualification. 

Fees are non-refundable except in emergency situations at the director’s discretion.

Your child’s image may be used in promotional advertising such as websites, TV ads, posters, etc.

By registering you agree to follow our rules and guidelines as well as those set by the venue hosting the pageant.
